Transmission CROSSMEMBER: Notes

REMOVAL 

1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to HOISTING, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
2. Remove the transfer case skid plate, if equipped. Refer to PLATE, SKID, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

   1 - Transmission Mount Crossmember Nuts

3. Remove the transmission mount crossmember nuts.
4. Separate the tube support clips from the crossmember.

   2 - Transmission Crossmember

   3 - Transmission Crossmember Bolts

5. Using a suitable lifting device, raise and support the transmission.
6. Remove the transmission crossmember nuts.
7. Remove the transmission crossmember bolts and remove the transmission crossmember.

INSTALLATION 

Follow the removal procedure in reverse for general reassembly of the components on the vehicle.
