Steering Column Shroud

REMOVAL 

1. Remove the steering column opening cover. Refer to COVER, STEERING COLUMN OPENING, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

   2 - Gap Hider

2. Disengage the gap hider from the steering column shroud.

   1 - Upper Shroud

3. Use an appropriate trim tool to release the tabs and separate the upper shroud from the lower shroud.

   1-2 - Wire Harness Connector

4. If equipped, disconnect the wire harness connectors, and remove the upper shroud.

5. Remove the steering column shroud screws.

6. Remove the steering column shroud screws and lower the lower shroud.

   1 - Wire Harness Routing Clip

7. Disengage the wire harness routing clip and remove the lower shroud.

INSTALLATION 

Follow the removal procedure in reverse for general reassembly of the components on the vehicle.
