The Electronic Shift Module (ESM) performs various internal tests to verify proper controller operation. This Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) indicates that there is an internal error with the Brake Transmission Shift Interlock (BTSI) Solenoid that is located within the ESM assembly.
