Diagnostic Test

REPLACE DRIVER PRESENCE DETECTION MODULE (DPDM) 

1. Turn the ignition on.
2. With the scan tool, erase and read Driver Presence Detection Module (DPDM) DTCs.
   WARNING:

   Turn the ignition off disconnect the 12-volt battery and wait two minutes before proceeding. Failure to follow these instructions may result in possible serious or fatal injury.

   When this code is set, view Repair, below.

   Repair 

   • Replace the Driver Presence Detection Module (DPDM) in accordance with Service Information. Refer to MODULE, DRIVER PRESENCE DETECTION (DPDM), REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
   • Perform the DRIVER PRESENCE DETECTION MODULE (DPDM) VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to: DRIVER PRESENCE DETECTION MODULE (DPDM) VERIFICATION TEST  .
