Theory Of Operation

The Body Control Module (BCM) provides a 5 volt reference voltage to the Headlamp Switch, through the Headlamp Switch MUX circuit and provides a ground through the Headlamp Switch MUX Return circuit. When the BCM detects the activation of the Headlamp Switch, the BCM provides the appropriate output for the requested exterior lamp(s).
