Theory Of Operation

This Electronic Control Unit (ECU) compares the vehicle configuration stored in memory with the configuration information transmitted on the Controller Area Network (CAN) by other ECU's. If the vehicle configuration stored in memory does not match the information transmitted on the CAN, this DTC will set.

If the vehicle was recently repaired before this DTC was set, check that the ECU was programmed correctly and that the correct parts were installed on the vehicle.
