When Monitored

This diagnostic runs continuously when the following conditions are met:

• Ignition on.
• System voltage message received over Controller Area Network (CAN) is between 10.0 and 16.0 volts
• If system voltage over CAN is not available, Electronic Shift Module (ESM) sensed voltage is used and must be between 6.0 and 16.0 volts.
• No CAN C Bus Off Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) set.
• The ESM is programmed.
• The Transmission Control Module (TCM) is available on the CAN bus.
