Diagnostic Test

CHECK FOR AN ACTIVE DTC 

1. Attempt to crank the engine, leaving the ignition on.
2. With the scan tool, read DTCs and record on the repair order.

   Is the DTC active or pending?

   Yes 

   • Refer to: BODY CONTROL MODULE (BCM) - DIAGNOSTIC CODE INDEX and perform the appropriate Starter Relay (Stop/Start Relay) diagnostic procedure.

   No 

   • Perform the INTERMITTENT CONDITION diagnostic procedure. Refer to; INTERMITTENT CONDITION .
