Radio Frequency Hub (RFH)

In vehicles equipped with the optional PEKG system, the RFH transmits the valid or invalid key message on the CAN C data bus when the ignition transitions from OFF to RUN.

Inputs: 

• Key traffic from KIN
• TRM_Code request from BCM
• Ignition and operational mode status
• Odometer total request
• Key fob validation request

Outputs: 

• TRM_Code response to BCM
• Key ID info
• Key programming status (key fob low battery message)
