BODY CONTROL MODULE (BCM)

The BCM is the gateway for CAN-IHS to CAN C bus communications.
Inputs
- Receiving the ICS input request for PAS ON/OFF requests
- Reverse gear status input from the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) obtained over the CAN bus from the Transmission Control Module (TCM) if equipped with an automatic transmission or the Neutral Position Sensor (NPS) if equipped with a manual transmission
Outputs
- Enabling and disabling the PAS light
- Outputs the chime activation request
- Requests to the IPC to display the vehicle graphics layout on the IPC screen
