Instrument Panel: Notes

REMOVAL 

1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable(s). Refer to BATTERY DISCONNECT - DUAL 12 VOLT BATTERY SYSTEM, 3.0L or BATTERY DISCONNECT AND CONNECT - SINGLE 12V BATTERY SYSTEM, 5.7L & 6.4L or BATTERY DISCONNECT AND CONNECT - ETORQUE SYSTEM, 5.7L & 6.4L .
2. Remove the steering column opening cover. Refer to COVER, STEERING COLUMN OPENING, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

3. Remove the nut that secures the Power Distribution Center (PDC) and slide it off the retaining bracket.

4. Pull the PDC away from the studs allowing access and disconnect the wire harness connectors from the PDC.
5. Remove the PDC from the vehicle.

INSTALLATION 

Follow the removal procedure in reverse for general reassembly of the components on the vehicle.
