Battery Tray: Removal

  1. Remove and set aside the pressurized coolant bottle. Refer to BOTTLE, COOLANT, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  2. Remove the vehicle battery. Refer to BATTERY, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  3. Remove the supplemental battery. Refer to BATTERY, SUPPLEMENTAL, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

    1 - Battery Drip Tray
  4. Remove the battery drip trays

    1 - Supplemental Battery Tray Bolt
    2 - Battery Tray Bolt
    3 - Battery Tray
  5. Remove the bolts securing the battery tray to the vehicle and remove the battery tray.

    1 - Battery Tray Support Bracket Bolt
    2 - Battery Tray Support Bracket Nut
    3 - Battery Tray Support Brackets
  6. If needed remove the battery tray support brackets
