Transmission Range Sensor (TRS) Adjustment: Notes

1. Make sure the shifter cable is properly adjusted. Prior to adjusting the TRS.
2. Turn the engine OFF.
3. Remove the transmission oil fill plug.
4. Firmly apply the Parking Brake
5. Place the transmission into NEUTRAL.

   3 - Manual Shaft Lever Lock Washer

   4 - Manual Shaft Lever Alignment Hole

   5 - Transmission Range Sensor (TRS) Alignment Hole

   6 - Manual Shaft

6. Loosen the TRS mounting bolts.
7. Align the TRS with the manual control lever and insert a suitable pin punch or equivalent in the alignment holes.
8. When the holes are all in alignment, tighten the TRS bolts.
9. Verify the proper TRS adjustment by making sure the vehicle only starts in the PARK and NEUTRAL position.
