When Monitored

This diagnostic runs continuously when the following conditions are met:

• When Brake Transmission Shift Interlock (BTSI) Solenoid is energized:
  • The diagnostic will monitor the BTSI Solenoid control circuit for a short to ground.
• When Brake Transmission Shift Interlock (BTSI) Solenoid is de-energized:
  • The diagnostic will monitor the BTSI Solenoid control circuit for an open circuit or short to voltage.
