Sensor, Air Temperature, Intake: Removal

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.

  2. Disconnect the Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor wire harness connector.
  3. Remove the IAT sensor from the air inlet box by first lifting up the anti-rotation tab (1) and turning the sensor 1/4 turn in the counter - clockwise direction. Ensure not to apply excessive force when lifting the tab to avoid damage.
