Sensor, Air Temperature, Intake: Removal
- Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
- Disconnect the Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor wire harness connector.
- Remove the IAT sensor from the air inlet box by first lifting up the anti-rotation tab (1) and turning the sensor 1/4 turn in the counter - clockwise direction. Ensure not to apply excessive force when lifting the tab to avoid damage.
