Power Lock Switch

The power door lock switch is integrated into the switch bank on each door panel while the liftgate switch is located in the overhead console.

The driver door power lock switch provides LIN outputs to the DDM or PDM indicating the power lock switch selection requested. The passenger door power lock switch uses a MUX circuit.

The power lock system uses non-switched battery current received through a fused B(+) fuse so that the system remains operational regardless of the ignition switch position.

Both the driver and passenger door lock unlock switches are disabled if the doors are locked from outside of the vehicle. The switches will be enabled again after an unlock operation is performed from outside of the vehicle or when an authenticated key fob is recognized at ignition ON  .
