Removal And Installation: Installation

- Position the intermediate shaft (2) to the vehicle.
- Slide the intermediate shaft coupler over steering gear input shaft.
- Slide the intermediate shaft coupler over steering column output shaft.
- Install a NEW intermediate shaft coupler pinch bolt (3) and tighten to the proper torque specification. Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
- Install a NEW intermediate shaft coupler pinch bolt (1) and tighten to the proper torque specification. Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
