Removal And Installation: Removal

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the floor console. Refer to CONSOLE, FLOOR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION or CONSOLE, FLOOR, END CAP, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

  3. Disconnect the Select Terrain switch wire harness connectors (1, 2) and remove the media hub from the vehicle.

  4. Using a suitable trim stick, remove the Select Terrain switch (1) from the media hub The switch is held in the media hub by retaining clips.
