Wiring, MOPAR Connect TELEMATIC Box: Removal

- Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
- Remove the steering column opening cover. Refer to COVER, STEERING COLUMN OPENING, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Release the lower B pillar trim and move it aside without removing it. Refer to PANEL, B-PILLAR TRIM, LOWER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

- Disconnect the T-box wire harness connector (1).
- Remove the T-box relay (1) complete with relay holder, releasing it from the cradle underneath, fixed to the bottom bracket.
- Remove the nut (1b) on the ground pin of the front pillar area open the cable retainers and remove the T-box harness ground ring.NOTE:
The T-box harness ground ring is the one at 90° to the normal production cables, if present.
- Cut the insulating tape used to compact the T-box harness with the car's main wiring, taking the greatest care not to damage the normal production wiring.
- Cut the bands (1) used to compact the ground lead of the T-box harness with the main vehicle wiring along the interior side panel, being very careful not to damage the normal production wiring.
- Cut the thermal shrinking connection tubes (1) used to connect the ignition signal (+50) to the T-box relay.
- Remove the two turret fuse-holders (1) from the Body Computer and recover the two original fuses F36 (+30) and F51 (+15) fitted on them.
- Disconnect the Body Computer's C6 connector (1) and remove the block which covers the internal connections.
- Remove the two cables CAN L (white) and CAN H (blue) of the T-box harness from the position corresponding to pins 52 (CAN L) and 51 (CAN H) respectively of the connector (1a) using a suitable extractor tool (1b).
- Disconnect the Body Computer's C6 connector and remove the block which covers the internal connections.
- Remove the door opening signal cable (green) of the T- Box harness from the position corresponding to pin 11 of the connector (1a) using a suitable extractor tool (1b).
- Cut the insulating tape (1) and ties (2) used to compact the T-box harness with the car's main wiring, taking the greatest care not to damage the normal production wiring, then remove the T-box wiring.
