Diagnosis And Testing

MOPAR® CONNECT TELEMATIC BOX CONTROL UNIT DOES NOT START

STEP COMPONENT CHECK NO FAULT DETECTED FAULT DETECTED REPAIR
1 Mopar® Connect Telematic Box control unit relay terminal Check that terminal 6 of the T- BOX control unit, which controls the starter block relay, is inserted correctly. Go to Step 2 Terminal 6 is not inserted correctly in the Mopar® Connect Telematic Box control unit. Insert terminal 6 correctly in the Mopar® Connect Telematic Box control unit.
2 Mopar® Connect Telematic Box control unit relay wiring Check for faults in the Mopar® Connect Telematic Box control unit relay wiring. Go to Step 3 There are faults in the Mopar® Connect Telematic Box control unit relay wiring. Repair the Mopar® Connect Telematic Box control unit relay wiring.
3 Mopar® Connect Telematic Box control unit relay Check that the Mopar® Connect Telematic Box control unit relay is working. Go to Step 4 The Mopar® Connect Telematic Box control unit relay is not working. Replace the Mopar® Connect Telematic Box control unit relay. Refer to BOX, MOPAR CONNECT TELEMATIC, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
4 Mopar® Connect Telematic Box control unit Check that the Mopar® Connect Telematic Box control unit is working correctly. End of diagnosis The Mopar® Connect Telematic Box control unit is not working correctly. Replace the Mopar® Connect Telematic Box control unit. Refer to BOX, MOPAR CONNECT TELEMATIC, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
MOPAR® CONNECT TELEMATIC BOX CONTROL UNIT LED ALWAYS ON

STEP COMPONENT CHECK NO FAULT DETECTED FAULT DETECTED REPAIR
1 Mopar® Connect Telematic Box control unit power supply Check the +30 or +15 power supplies on the Mopar® Connect Telematic Box control unit fuse tap. End of diagnosis The power supplies on the Mopar® Connect Telematic Box control unit fuse tap are not correct. Repair the correct +30 or +15 power supplies on the Mopar® Connect Telematic Box control unit fuse tap.
MOPAR® CONNECT TELEMATIC BOX CONTROL UNIT LED ALWAYS OFF

STEP COMPONENT CHECK NO FAULT DETECTED FAULT DETECTED REPAIR
1 Mopar® Connect Telematic Box control unit fuse tap Check that the Mopar® Connect Telematic Box control unit fuse tap is working correctly. Go to Step 2 The Mopar® Connect Telematic Box control unit fuse tap is not working correctly. Replace the Mopar® Connect Telematic Box control unit fuse tap (and investigate the cause of the malfunction).
2 Mopar® Connect Telematic Box control unit ground Check that the Mopar® Connect Telematic Box control unit ground point is tightened correctly. End of diagnosis The Mopar® Connect Telematic Box control unit earth point is not tightened correctly. Tighten the Mopar® Connect Telematic Box control unit earth point correctly.
MOPAR® CONNECT TELEMATIC BOX CONTROL UNIT CONTINUALLY IN CRASH

STEP COMPONENT CHECK NO FAULT DETECTED FAULT DETECTED REPAIR
1 Mopar® Connect Telematic Box control unit fastening Check that the Mopar® Connect Telematic Box control unit is fastened correctly. Go to Step 2 The Mopar® Connect Telematic Box control unit is not fastened correctly. Fasten the Mopar® Connect Telematic Box control unit correctly (fasten it with velcro bands).
2 Mopar® Connect Telematic Box control unit Check that the Mopar® Connect Telematic Box control unit is working correctly. End of diagnosis The Mopar® Connect Telematic Box control unit is not working correctly. Replace the Mopar® Connect Telematic Box control unit. Refer to BOX, MOPAR CONNECT TELEMATIC, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
MOPAR® CONNECT TELEMATIC BOX CONTROL UNIT IN HOLD - THREE LED FLASHES

STEP COMPONENT CHECK NO FAULT DETECTED FAULT DETECTED REPAIR
1 Mopar® Connect Telematic Box control unit position Check that the Mopar® Connect Telematic Box control unit is positioned correctly. Go to Step 2 The Mopar® Connect Telematic Box control unit is not positioned correctly. Position the Mopar® Connect Telematic Box control unit correctly to receive the best Global Positioning System (GPS) signal.
2 Mopar® Connect Telematic Box control unit Check that the Mopar® Connect Telematic Box control unit is working correctly. End of diagnosis The Mopar® Connect Telematic Box control unit is not working correctly. Replace the Mopar® Connect Telematic Box control unit. Refer to BOX, MOPAR CONNECT TELEMATIC, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
MOPAR® CONNECT TELEMATIC BOX CONTROL UNIT DOES NOT TRANSMIT GSM - FOUR LED FLASHES

STEP COMPONENT CHECK NO FAULT DETECTED FAULT DETECTED REPAIR
1 Mopar® Connect Telematic Box control unit position Check that the Mopar® Connect Telematic Box control unit is positioned correctly. Go to Step 2 The Mopar® Connect Telematic Box control unit is not positioned correctly. Position the Mopar® Connect Telematic Box control unit correctly to receive the best Global System for Mobile (GSM) signal.
2 Mopar® Connect Telematic Box control unit Check that the Mopar® Connect Telematic Box control unit is working correctly. End of diagnosis The Mopar® Connect Telematic Box control unit is not working correctly. Replace the Mopar® Connect Telematic Box control unit. Refer to BOX, MOPAR CONNECT TELEMATIC, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
MOPAR® CONNECT TELEMATIC BOX CONTROL UNIT CHANGES FROM ON TO OFF AND OFF TO ON WITH THE VEHICLE IN MOTION

STEP COMPONENT CHECK NO FAULT DETECTED FAULT DETECTED REPAIR
1 Mopar® Connect Telematic Box control unit connections Check that the pins correctly make contact with the Mopar® Connect Telematic Box control unit connector. Go to Step 2 There is a ineffective connection between the terminals and the Mopar® Connect Telematic Box control unit connector. Repair the correct connection between the terminals and the Mopar® Connect Telematic Box control unit connector.
2 Mopar® Connect Telematic Box control unit Check that the Mopar® Connect Telematic Box control unit is working correctly. End of diagnosis The Mopar® Connect Telematic Box control unit is not working correctly. Replace the Mopar® Connect Telematic Box control unit. Refer to BOX, MOPAR CONNECT TELEMATIC, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
