In vehicles not equipped with the optional PEKG system, the SKIS control circuitry integral to the BCM includes a Radio Frequency (RF) transceiver.

Inputs without PEKG:

• PCM DTC status
• Odometer total request
• Remote start activation status
• Key transponder ID info
• Driver door ajar status
• Ignition and operational mode status
• Key in ignition status
• IMMO_Code request from PCM
• Power mode status

Outputs without PEKG:

• Key transponder authentication/read request
• IPC warning light status
• IMMO_Code response to PCM

Inputs with PEKG:

• Key transponder authentication/read request
• Ignition and operational mode status
• TRM_Code request from BCM

Outputs with PEKG:

• Key transponder ID info
• TRM_Code response to BCM
