The Rear Driveline Module (RDM) actuator is an electric motor bolted to the RDM. The Drivetrain Control Module (DTCM) controls the direction of rotation and rpm to determine the position and consequently engagement of the clutch. There are two Hall-effect sensors and one temperature sensor fitted on the actuator. The RDM actuator is serviced with the RDM assembly for the removal and installation.
