Shield, Underbody: Installation

NOTE:

Right side shown, left side typical.

  1. Position the underbody shield (1) to the vehicle.
  2. Install the retaining nuts (3) that secure the underbody shield (1) to the vehicle underbody (2) and tighten to the proper specifications. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
  3. Install the push-pin fasteners (4) that secure the underbody shield (1).
  4. Install the retaining bolts that secure the underbody shield (1) to the vehicle underbody (2). Tighten to the proper specifications. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
  5. Lower the vehicle.
