Sensor, Manifold Absolute Pressure (Map): Removal: 3.2L

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
  2. Unlock and disconnect the electrical connector (1) from the MAP sensor.

  3. Rotate the MAP sensor (1) 1/4 turn counterclockwise and pull the sensor straight up and out of the upper intake manifold.

  4. The MAP sensor O-ring (1) can be reused if not damaged.
