Sensor, Air Temperature, Inlet: Removal

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the air cleaner resonator. Refer to RESONATOR, AIR CLEANER, REMOVAL .

  3. Disconnect the Air Temperature (IAT) sensor wire harness connector (2).
  4. Lift the tab (1) and rotate the IAT sensor (3) 1/4 turn counter clockwise and remove sensor.
