Pipe, Exhaust: Installation

  1. Using NEW  gaskets, install the exhaust Y-pipe (1) and tighten rear catalytic converter to the exhaust Y-pipe nuts (5) to the proper specifications. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS - 3.2L  .
  2. Install the nuts (3) securing the cross under pipe (1) to the exhaust Y-pipe (4) and tighten to the proper specifications. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS - 3.2L  .
  3. Install the Y-pipe (4) isolator bolts and tighten to the proper specifications. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS - 3.2L  .
  4. Install the exhaust resonator. Refer to RESONATOR, EXHAUST, INSTALLATION .
  5. Check for clearance of the exhaust to body.
  6. Install the belly pan. Refer to BELLY PAN, INSTALLATION .
