Removal And Installation: Removal

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.

  2. Remove the pad (1a) and remove the screw (1b) below the hand well, then remove the hand well (2) from the door panel.

  3. Using a suitable tool, remove the driver door gang switch (1a) from the door panel by releasing the retaining clips (1b).
  4. Disconnect the wire harness connectors (2a and 2b).
