Removal And Installation: Removal
- Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
- Remove the engine cover. Refer to
COVER, ENGINE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
.
- Unlock and disconnect the wire harness connector (1) from the ignition coil.
- Remove the ignition coil mounting bolts (2) and pull the ignition coil from cylinder head cover opening with a slight twisting action.
