Sensor, Ambient Temperature: Removal

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the radiator grille assembly. Refer to GRILLE, REMOVAL .
  3. Disconnect the wiring harness connector (3) from the ambient temperature sensor (2).
  4. Remove the push pin type retainer (1) and the ambient temperature sensor.
