Removal - PDC Assembly

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.

  2. Remove the Power Distribution Center (PDC) Assembly cover (1) from the PDC Assembly (2).

  3. Remove the PDC Assembly B(+) fastener and terminals (1) from the PDC Assembly (2).

  4. Release the retainers securing the PDC Assembly tray (1) to the PDC Assembly bracket (2).

  5. Carefully lift the PDC Assembly tray upward and disconnect the wiring harness connectors (1) from the PDC Assembly (2).
  6. Remove the PDC Assembly tray from the PDC Assembly bracket.
  7. If needed, remove the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) and bracket. Refer to MODULE, POWERTRAIN CONTROL (PCM), REMOVAL .

  8. Remove the fasteners (1) and the PDC Assembly bracket (2) from the engine compartment.
