Cluster Assembly

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
  2. Position the steering column to its lowest position.
  3. Using a trim tool, release the clips and position the steering column seal back.

  4. Remove the fasteners (2 and 3) that secure the instrument cluster and bezel (1) assembly to the instrument panel.
  5. Pull the top of the instrument cluster back and lift the instrument cluster upward to remove.

  6. Disconnect the instrument cluster wire harness connector (1) from the connector receptacles on the back of the cluster housing.
  7. Remove the instrument cluster from the vehicle.
