Component Functional Description-Brake Pedal Simulator Pressure Sensor

eBOOSTER SYSTEMS ONLY:  As the vehicle operator presses on the Brake Pedal on the eBooster system, the hydraulic/spring pressure is applied on the Brake Pedal Simulator Pressure Sensor. The Brake System Control Module (BSCM) monitors the signal from the Brake Pedal Simulator Pressure Sensor as one input to vehicle operator brake input. The Brake Pedal Simulator Pressure Sensor is rationalized against the signals from both internal Brake Pedal Position Sensor signals.
