Diagnostic Test

CHECK FOR AN ACTIVE DTC
1. Press the ignition on.
2. With the scan tool, create a Vehicle Scan Report and attach it to the repair order.
3. With the scan tool, read RFHM DTCs
  Is the DTC active?
  
  Yes
  - Go To 2
  No
  - Perform the TESTING FOR AN INTERMITTENT CONDITION procedure. Refer to TESTING FOR AN INTERMITTENT CONDITION .
CHECK THE VEHICLE VIN
1. Press the ignition on.
2. With the scan tool, select: Radio Frequency Hub Module (RFHM), "REPORTS", "ECU Details Report".
3. Scroll down to "Radio Frequency Hub Module (RFHM)", read the "VIN Original" and compare it to the actual vehicle VIN.
  Does the RFHM "Vin Original" match the vehicle VIN?
  
  Yes
  - Replace the Radio Frequency Hub Module (RFHM) in accordance with the Service Information. Refer to MODULE, RADIO FREQUENCY (RF HUB), REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  - Perform the RADIO FREQUENCY HUB VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to RADIO FREQUENCY HUB (RF HUB) VERIFICATION TEST .
  No
  - Go To 3
RESET THE RFHM
1. With the scan tool, select "Misc Functions".
2. With the scan tool, perform the "Reset ECU" procedure.
3. Press the ignition off.
4. Try to start the engine three times.
  Did the engine start?
  
  Yes
  - Perform the TESTING FOR AN INTERMITTENT CONDITION procedure. Refer to TESTING FOR AN INTERMITTENT CONDITION .
  No
  - Replace the Radio Frequency Hub Module (RFHM) in accordance with the Service Information. Refer to MODULE, RADIO FREQUENCY (RF HUB), REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  - Perform the RADIO FREQUENCY HUB VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to RADIO FREQUENCY HUB (RF HUB) VERIFICATION TEST .
