Default Action
- If CAN C is still functioning:
- ESM will continue to communicate over the CAN C bus.
- If both CAN Dedicated Powertrain (DPT) and CAN C are not functioning:
- If the Ignition Lock is activated, all Shifter background illumination LEDs will be turned on and all Gear position indicators will be turned on.
- If the Ignition Lock is not activated, all Shifter background illumination LEDs will be turned off and all Gear position indicators will be turned on. If the voltage is greater than 16.0 all Shifter background illumination LEDs and all Gear position indicators will be turned off.
- Brake Transmission Shift Interlock (BTSI) solenoid will remain unlocked until shifted to PARK. Once in PARK, the BTSI will remain locked.
- Shift indicator Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs) will be blinking.
- Shifter background illumination LEDs will be turned off.
