Functional Description - Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC)

The PCM sends activation signals to the IPC requesting that the IPC displays specific Engine Stop/Start (ESS) system messages. The IPC will display these messages to the driver of the vehicle indicating the status of the ESS system. When the ESS system has been inhibited, the IPC will display a message indicating the reason for the temporary inhibit.
