Vehicles with Electric Power Steering (EPS) system consisting of:
- EPS module (1)
- Outer tie rod ends (2)
- Rack and pinion steering gear (3)
- Inner tie rod ends (4)
- Dash Seal (5)
- Steering column (6)
NOTE:
The EPS system is a dry gear system. The EPS system does not contain any hydraulic components such as:
- a belt-driven hydraulic pump.
- any high-pressure hydraulic hoses.
- power steering fluid.
The EPS system will not experience a hydraulic leak. If fluid is detected at the front of the vehicle on or near the steering gear, investigate other systems.
