The fluidic washer nozzles (1) are constructed of molded plastic and include an integral check valve. Each nozzle has an integral latch that secures it in a dedicated hole in the hood reinforcement panel near the base of the windshield. There is no gasket to seal the nozzle to the outer hood panel as it is not needed. Being located below the hood panel surface makes the nozzle virtually invisible on the outside of the hood panel. The nozzle orifices are oriented towards the windshield glass.

An integral diaphragm type check valve is contained within the body of each nozzle. The washer plumbing fitting (2) for each washer nozzle extend below the hood panel and are accessible from the engine compartment when the hood is opened and the hood silencer pad is removed.

A washer nozzle cannot be adjusted or repaired and, if ineffective or damaged, it must be replaced.
