Removal And Installation: Installation

  1. Position the starter motor (1), Install and tighten the mounting bolts (2) to the proper torque specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .

  2. Install the battery cable and secure the clips (2), install the B+ nut and tighten to the proper torque specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
  3. Connect the starter electrical connector (1).
  4. Install the Y-pipe. Refer to PIPE, EXHAUST CROSSUNDER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  5. Install the front catalytic converter. Refer to CONVERTER, CATALYTIC, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  6. Connect the negative battery cable.
