Description And Operation: Operation

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2022 Chrysler Voyager and 2022 Chrysler Pacifica. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

The Long Term Evolution 2 (LTE2) antenna is designed to maximize the reception and transmission of data signals within its operating frequencies. The signal frequencies vary by area around the world, so the LTE2 antenna is specific to the LTE network in which it will be used.

The LTE2 antenna has an internal 10 kilohm resistor to set a Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) in the module to which it is connected if the antenna cable or LTE2 antenna is disconnected from that module.

If the LTE2 antenna becomes ineffective or inoperative, it must be replaced as a complete unit. For removal of the LTE2 antenna. Refer to ANTENNA, LONG-TERM EVOLUTION 2 (LTE2), REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
