Description And Operation: Operation

The amplifier receives fused battery current from a fuse in the Power Distribution Center (PDC) at all times. The internal circuitry of the amplifier switches the amplifier ON based upon a Controller Area Network - Interior High Speed (CAN-IHS) ignition ON bus message whenever the ignition is turned to ON. The amplifier receives the sound signal inputs from the front and rear, left and right outputs of the RRM, and then sends the amplified speaker outputs for each of those channels to the speakers.

The amplifier receives information from the Body Control Module (BCM) and RRM, that communicates the correct channel setting for optimum speaker sound and output.
