Removal And Installation: Removal

  1. Move the drivers front seat to the full forward position.
  2. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.

  3. Remove the fasteners (2) and module cover (1) to gain access to the Power Inverter Module (PIM) (3).

  4. Disconnect the wire harness connector (3) from the PIM (1).
  5. Remove the fastener (2) from the PIM.
  6. Remove the PIM the vehicle.
