Removal And Installation: Installation

  1. Install the Power Inverter Module (PIM) in the vehicle.

  2. Install the PIM mounting fastener (2) and tighten to the proper torque specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
  3. Connect the wire harness connector to the PIM connector receptacle (3).
  4. Install the PIM cover and remaining fasteners and tighten to the proper torque specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
  5. Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector.
