Diagnostic Test

NOTE:

DO NOT REPLACE TPM SENSOR.  THIS FAULT IS EXPECTED IF TIRE PRESSURE IS 20% BELOW THE PLACARD PRESSURE

Inflate tire to cold placard pressure to remove the fault condition

NOTE:

It is recommended to inflate tire 2 psi past placard pressure to ensure fault condition clears.

  1. Test drive the vehicle at a speed greater than 24 km/h (15 mph) for 5 minutes in order to receive TPM Sensor data and allow for the system to update.
    1. Test complete
    2. Perform the TPM SENSOR VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to TPM SENSOR VERIFICATION TEST .
