Removal And Installation: Installation

  1. If replacing the battery tray, transfer any components from the old tray to the new tray.
  2. Position the battery tray to the engine compartment for installation.
  3. Using the bolts during removal, secure the battery tray the vehicles engine compartment. Tighten the bolts to the proper torque specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
  4. Install the wiring harnesses to the battery tray wiring harness routing clips and install those clips to the battery tray.
  5. For electronic Stop/Start, install the supplemental battery. For all models, install the main battery.
