Front Axle - M210

TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS - FRONT AXLE - M210

DESCRIPTION SPECIFICATIONS COMMENT
Bearing Cap Bolts 108 N.m (80 Ft. Lbs.) -
Differential Cover Bolts Torque Procedure: 
  1. Tighten to 20 N.m (15 Ft. Lbs.) 
  2. Rotate additional 20° 
 Tightening Sequence

Differential Drain Plug 34 N.m (25 Ft. Lbs.) -
Differential Fill Plug 34 N.m (25 Ft. Lbs.) -
Front Axle Disconnect Skid Plate Bolts 42 N.m (31 Ft. Lbs.) -
Front Axle Disconnect Bolts 18 N.m (13 Ft. Lbs.) Do not reuse these fasteners. If removed, a NEW  fastener must be installed and tightened to specifications.
Pinion Flange Nut 217 N.m (160 Ft. Lbs.) Do not reuse these fasteners. If removed, a NEW  fastener must be installed and tightened to specifications.
Ring Gear Bolts 136 N.m (100 Ft. Lbs.) Do not reuse these fasteners. If removed, a NEW  fastener must be installed and tightened to specifications.
