Removal And Installation - Rear

REMOVAL

1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable(s). Refer to the appropriate service information .
2. Remove center console end cap. Refer to CONSOLE, FLOOR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATIONCONSOLE, FLOOR, END CAP, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

3. Using a trim tool (special tool #C-4755, Trim Stick) or equivalent, separate the retaining clips and remove the rear console bezel (2) from the rear of the console (1).
4. Disconnect the wire harness connectors.

5. Remove the fasteners (2) and remove the switch assembly (1) from the rear trim.

6. Release the tabs and remove the switch (2) from the bezel (1).

INSTALLATION

1. Install the switch (2) onto the bezel (1) and seat the retaining clips.

2. Install the switch assembly (1) onto the rear console trim and install the fasteners (2).

3. Connect the wire harness connectors.
4. Install the rear console trim assembly (2) onto the console (1) and seat the retaining clips.
5. Connect the negative battery cable(s). Refer to the appropriate service information .
