Theory Of Operation

The Driver Presence Detection Module (DPDM) monitors the bladder fluid pressure. The DPDM uses pressure data to determine the status (occupied or empty) of the driver's seat and verify the operational status of the bladder. The bladder fluid pressure and temperature are analog measurements and converted to digital counts.
