Removal And Installation: Removal

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the front seat back and cover. Refer to COVER, SEAT BACK, FRONT, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

  3. Disconnect the lumbar motor wire harness connector (1).
  4. Release the lumbar motor lining (2a) from the seat suspension.
  5. Remove lumbar retainers (2b) and remove the lumbar motor and pad (2c).
