Removal And Installation: 2.4L: Installation

  1. Check that the battery tray is not damaged.
  2. If removed, position the PCM to the battery tray, then install and tighten the nuts to the proper torque specifications. Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
  3. Attach the washer fluid assembly to the battery tray.
  4. Position the battery tray to the vehicle, then install and tighten the screws to the proper torque specifications. Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
  5. Connect the PCM wire harness connectors and ground strap to the PCM. Install and securely tighten the ground strap nut.
  6. Install the main and supplemental batteries to the battery tray. Refer to BATTERY, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION  or BATTERY, SUPPLEMENTAL, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
