Removal And Installation: Removal

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.

  2. Remove the upper washer reservoir to body fastener (1).
  3. Remove the left front wheelhouse shield. Refer to SHIELD, SPLASH, FRONT WHEELHOUSE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

  4. Remove the washer pump (3) from the washer reservoir without disconnecting the wiring and hoses from the pump. Move the washer pump aside. Refer to PUMP, WINDSHIELD WASHER, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  5. Remove the rubber grommet seal from the washer pump mounting hole in the reservoir and DISCARD  .
  6. Disconnect the washer level switch wiring harness connector (1).
  7. Remove the lower washer reservoir to body fastener (2).
  8. Remove the washer reservoir to body mounting fastener (4).
  9. Remove the reservoir from the vehicle.
